Cannot give hints. You guys are too good.
Update
As you can see from the Google Street View image below, this building used to house a DBS Bank branch in Taman Jurong. But do you know what was the building originally? No, I don’t think it was OCBC, unless it was before DBS. Hint. It was not a local bank.
Wow. I never knew the images at Google Street View are this old. This DBS branch had closed down months ago. I think more than 1 year ago.
Let’s bring back Operation Broomstick

Last Tuesday, a Canadian visitor wrote a letter to the Straits Times Forum.
Unlike this other Canadian visitor, Mr James Cruikshank did not mince his
words...

Must check all the Blk 156 in Singapore ...
It at Taman Jurong Estate, at the junction of corporation road and Yung Ho road.
Now, I think it vacant, previous occupant is DBS. However, if I remember correctly, it used to house OCBC and UOB. Travelled past this building everyday back in 1986 to 1991 heading to my primary school in the morning
If you look closely at Chun See's photo, you can still see the DBS Bank lettering. This is the view in Google StreetView

OT: I used to love eating at the KFC nearby. I haven't been there in years but they did a pretty good job with the chicken at this branch.
Citibank or Chase Manhattan? Looks like bu it also doesn't look like at the same time. Too long ago.
Not Citibank or Chase Manhattan.
There was a Citibank Branch at Yung Kuang Rd. Just opposite the Jurong Swimming Pool. Along the same row of shops was a POSB branch as well.
As for Chase Manhattan, I think there was one near to the present Community Club along Corporation Drive.
Bank of Tokyo then.
I think it was the now defunct Bank Of America.
I also guess its Bank of America.
I served my NS at the Taman Jurong 9 RITC (or 22 SA) camp during 86-87.
I think Govt very pissed off with BOA when they pulled out of Singapore during the 97 Asian crisis.
Yes. It's the Bank of America - as far as I can remember.
it was formally a church!
Church? No, I don't think so.
Its definitely was Bank of America. I used to grow up around that place during the 80's. I can still recalled the BA logo clearly.
