OK. Here are another 3 photos. Actually I am not too keen to put up these photos because their ‘beauty’ is somewhat marred by poor maintenance by the owners. But, as they say in Hokkien, bo he hey ya ho. (If you cannot get fish, you have to settle for prawns).

The third ‘S’ in 5S is *Seiso*; and it simply means *Cleaning*.

I know the answers but will keep my big mouth shut.
OK why you wanna take photos of old cars? Some more older than some of the readers. Should go for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborginis, BMW X. Plenty on singapore roads and also the driver also good-looking. How about it?
Maybe the exotics too fast for his camera .. wahahaha :P
Ok, I promise that I will come in again only 3 days later. Anyway you should have given some clues to the younger readers, like "the 1st one is a Conti, the last 2 are Japs". (Not that I am right hor.)
Icemoon, you are then funny - a camera is only as fast as the photographer. Besides an exotic doesn't run any faster than a bone-shaker when they are both parked at the roadside. Muahahaha.
Peter, some who drive sport cars are not that good-looking.
This reminds me of my x-classmate who bought a Maserati and drove up to mandarin Oriental Hotel foyer. he noticed a group of girls - 20somehting - looking hard at his fire-red car. he was there to pick up his wife and as usual, the consierge directed him to pack a short distance from the main entrance since he was waiting for someone. This my friend did but he decided to come out of the car to get some fresh air.
Then the same group of girls who first took a hard look at his car noticed him and quickly turned their heads away from him.
You know why? My friend wore Japanese sandals, Ah Pek white singlet (no sleeves) and those black running shorts. Of course my friend also old and balding. Myabe the girls "no look up" my friend But I thot people who drive such cars sure got chance with girls. OR has the world changed?
I quite agree with Peter and other comments, Chun See is going to get into trouble taking pictures of old cars - he will lose friends and could end being referred to a mental health specialist!
The cars do not belong to my friends. I took these photos when I was in Ipoh in 2006 when I was walking around the neighbourhood.
let me try... I probably was a very small kid when these cars were popular... the second is a honda? civic? and the third is a datsun 120y? don't know about the first... but except for the boot, the passenger cabin and bonnet looks vaguely like a mercedes...
madza
honda civic
datsun 120y
So far no one got all answers correct. OK here are some hints.:
First one is European; not British or Italian.
Second one - I also don't know the answer. Probably Japanese.
Third one is Datsun 120Y
Alamak, you revealed the answers before I could come in.
Yes, the car in the 3rd photo is a Datsun 120Y.
The one in the 2nd photo is a Honda Civic. Compare it with this photo - they look the same, don't it? Woah, your car is so old that it even got "cataract" in its left headlamp. Haha.
1st photo - I'm not sure but since not British or Italian then could it be French? I guess it's a Peugeot. (The round metal fuel cap and the chrome press-button door handles betrayed its Conti origin.)
Yes Victor. It is a Peugeot. (I never know how to pronounce this word). As an owner of a French car, maybe you can share a bit about your experience; likes and dislikes.
My younger brother used to drive a Datsun 120Y. Very easy to handle, but very light.
1st photo = Peugeot 204 model.
Actually in Malaysia, "Anything boleh jalan". This is called freedom. I sat my friend's Honda Club (90cc) from Jalan Bukit Bintang to Damansara Heights - the bike still can carry big buffalo like this and is about 35 years old. Some more my friend's bike never renew road tax for 10 years; so no road licence.
chun see,.
its pronounced as
Pew-joe but of course u can slang a bit to give the Frenchie accent.
The first car is the Peugot 505.
Sorry, it should be Peugeot 504.

The 3rd is the Datsun 120Y or 140Y depending on engine size,in Japan it is known as Datsun Sunny(model code B310).It was the 4th generation Sunny.Available as 2 & 4 door saloon,3 door coupe,5 door wagon & sport wagon known as Sunny California.
